Boys Matches

The Lothians Golf Association has traditionally played junior matches at various age ranges against our near neighbours, Angus, Borders, Fife, Lanarkshire, Perth & Kinross and Stirlingshire. This took a back seat during the Covid period but was revived in 2023 with an U18 match against Angus. This was followed by a Development team match against them in 2024. Other matches are planned for 2025. Results of recent matches can be seen by clicking the Matches tab on this page.

In addition Scottish Golf run a Boys Area Team Championship each year involving a 4 man team playing foursomes in the morning and singles in the afternoon. The venue rotates round the country. Lothians have a great record in this being the current holders and having won it 14 times as can be seen in Secion 6.3 of the Centenary & History section of the website.
