McLaren the latest Lothians player to turn Pro

Following yesterday's announcement, the Lothians wish to send congratulations and best wishes to Stuart McLaren in his recent bid to secure a tour Card on the PGA EuroPro Tour.

Stuart's impressive form this year has allowed him to consider his opportunities and gaining his card at Studley Wood GC, Oxfordshire has made his decision all the easier. Stuart had to cover the last 22 holes in 7 under par to make the grade, which included 3 birdies in the last three holes. Nothing like playing under pressure!

Everyone at the Lothians is delighted for Stuart, and although disappointed that he will no longer be one of the Lothians star amateur players, the Executive will be keeping an eye on his future achievements. President, John Allan stated " We always knew Stuart was a professional in the making, his consistent performances have shone through. Although a loss for the Lothians, we wish him well in his new venture and hope that he continues his winning ways."
