Winter League 2019/20

The Winter League matches got underway on Sunday, 20 October 2019 with the first set of matches taking place in St Andrews on the Jubilee Course.

Fife fielded a strong side by playing all of their National Winning team players within the 10 man team against a quality West Lothian side. In well contested matches West Lothian can be proud of themselves at having taken a good point from the match as the game finished 2.5 to 2.5

The Midlothian team had Sean Marc at the helm and where worthy winners over Kenny Glen's East Lothians team, with a 3 - 2 scoreline.

The second round of matches took the competition to Baberton GC on a very cold (-5) and frosty morning.

This however, didn't deter the golfers and some of the play was very hot indeed. All teams had some new players in their midst and both matches were very close.

The league takes a short break now before the last set of matches to take place at Royal Musselburgh in February, with three teams still in contention to win.
