Entries close tomorrow for Champion of Champions , Handicap Match Play and Junior Champions & Medal Winners Championship (Update 03.03.26)

Each year the Lothians Golf Association organise Club based Competitions for their member clubs. Maybe you think you qualify for these tournaments If so, contact your Club Secretary, entry can only be carried out by them as they have copies of the full qualifying information.

Men's Champion of Champions - Open to all Club Champions for the year 2025

Men's Handicap Matchplay - Limited to handicaps of 10.0 and above, entrants include those that have won their Clubs B' Championship or a specific tournament in their club calendar but clubs have complete freedom about who they chose to represent them in this event. We are always surprised that there is not therefore a full entry.

Junior Champion of Champion and Medal Winners Competition - Open to all Junior Club Champions or any one who has won a Club medal in 2025. Again we are surprised that there is not a bigger entry for this event now that medal winners are included. 

Entries for these three competitions has been extended and will now close on 11th March 2026

Men's Team Tournament - A team competition with three players from each club, played off scratch.

Entry for this competition will close on 8th April 2026

Sivewright Quaich - Open to our Affiliate Clubs, this is a Foursomes Matchplay competition. Are you a member of a Lothians Affiliated Club? Then why not get another three players and get your Secretary to enter you.

Entry to the Sivewright will close on 27th March 2026

We are still well short of the normal numbers for the first 3 events with only 1 day to go until the closing date although we hope that the secretaries from the missing clubs will have a note to do this tomorrow.
