The excellent Baberton course play host to the Lothians annual match against Northumberland over the weekend in what is normally a feeder match for the respective teams selections for their forthcoming National Championships.
On Saturday, the annual executive took place with a good win for Lothians by four matches to one. The friendly but competitive match allows both Executive committees to get together to share a good networking opportunity and gives a good perspective of golf on both sides of the border.

It was an exciting set of matches with the score not looking too healthy as the players all went through the 14th, with it looking like a 4-2 in favour of Northumberland but some gritty performances seen Lothians turn it around for a 3.5.to 2.5 halfway margin in our favour.
