Winter League treble for East Lothian

The postponed final winter league matches were played at Kingsfield Golf Centre today with East Lothian taking the title after a 3 & 2 win over there closest challengers, Midlothian. West Lothian beat Fife by the same margin to move into second place. The full match results can be seen by clicking here and the final league table by clicking here. The course had recovered reasonably well from the recent severe conditions with the players remarking favourably about the greens in particular. The convenor, Ian McDonald, thanked the host clubs Kingsknowe, Crail and Kingsfield for the hospitality and warm welcome received at the 3 matches. Well done East Lothian.
