LOTHIANS HANDICAP GREENSOMES STABLEFORD CHAMPIONSHIP 2025
In 2025, the Lothians have decided to change the format of their previous individual handicap stableford following some downturn in entries and are introducing a new format of a Handicap Greensomes.
In this competition it will allow players of any Lothians Club to pair up and play in this new championship. Players do not have to be from the same club just clubs in the Lothians.
From our feedback, players in the Lothians want a competition which is aimed at the higher handicap player. Therefore, for this competition, players must be over 18 years on the day of the competition, with a handicap range of 5.5 to 24.0.
This competition allows for various combinations of player e.g. two friends, brothers, grandfathers and grandsons to play together in a competitive but fun competition. This year the competition is being held at Greenburn Golf Club, on Sunday, 24 August 2025 with tee times available from 8.00am to 1.00pm.
When booking you will be able to enter a time slot zone which are 10 teams per slot. Please be mindful that when entering you will require to provide the DOB and CDH number of both players and that the entry fee will have to be made at time of entry. So please have your card ready.
For this year we are holding the entry fee at £20.00 per pair to try and encourage as many players to enter as possible. Entry opens on Wednesday, 5 March 2025 at 7.00pm
Prizes are being split into two categories calculated by handicap. The overall winners will also have their name on the McManus Family Trophy.
We look forward to seeing your entries come in and hope to see you at Greenburn.
