East Lothian in strong position in Winter League

A strong 4 to 1 win over Fife at Crail on Sunday puts East Lothian in a commanding position in the Lothians & Fife Winter League. East Lothian with a team packed with 6 man team players and 36 hole championship winners took on a much changed Fife team. Although the final result was firmly in favour of East Lothian all of the matches went to at least the 16th green. In the second match between West Lothian and Midlothian it was even closer with all the games going to the last green with West finishing strongly to win the last 2 matches by 1 hole and secure an overall 3 to 2 win. The last round of matches will be at Kingsfield on 2 March when East Lothian and Midlothian battle it out for the title all be it that Midlothian will have to 'Live the Dream' and turn the 'form book' on its head.
