Annual Subscriptions and Club Based Competitions

JUST A REMINDER THAT ALL SUBSCRIPTIONS SHOULD BE PAID BY ALL CLUBS AND AFFILIATE CLUBS NO LATER THAN 31 JANUARY 2025

LETTERS HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED TO CLUBS REGADING THIS SUBJECT ON 22 NOVEMEBER, 17 DECEMBER AND 22 JANUARY, THE ASSOCIATION SEEKS YOUR COOPERATION IN ENSURING THAT YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE PAID ON TIME.

IF SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE NOT PAID BY THIS DATE COULD SEE YOUR CLUB SUBJECT TO A LATE PAYMENT FEE.

The Lothians have once again been able to maintain the per Capita fee at £1.50 per male member (Over 18).

This offers great value to the members who are able to participate in not only Club Based Competitions but also the various Championships throughout the year.

There are five Club based Competitions

Champion of Champions (Must be the Club Champion of 2024)

Handicap Matchplay (A selected member from their B' Championship or other selected club tournament)

Team Tournament (three man team from each club)

Junior Champion of Champions and Medal Winners (Open to Junior Champions of 2024 or any player who has won a Junior medal) ** this is subject to certain conditions.

Sivewright Quaich (Open to Affiliate Clubs - 4 person team played in foursomes knockout)

Entry for Club Based Competitions is undertaken by the Club Secretary/Representative Only - Please contact your Club Secretary if think you qualify for this.

Championships 

Lothians Amateur Championship (Open to players with a Handicap Index of +7.0 to 4.4) This is being played at Duddingston GC

South East District Championship (Open to players with a Handicap Index of +7.0 to 4.4) This is being played at Mortonhgall GC

Lothians Seniors Championship (Open to players over 55 on date of the tournament. Max Handicap Index of 24) This is being played at Uphall

Lothians Boys Championship (Open to players under 18 on 1 January Max Handicap Index of 28) This is being played at the Braids GC

Lothians Greensomes Stableford Championship (Open to players of a handicap index of 5.0 to 24.0) ** this is subject to certain conditions. This is being played at Greenburn GC

Rules and Regulations for each of these competitions are posted on our Website, www.lothiansgolfassociation.org.uk

Championship Competitions will go live on Monday, 10 February at 9.00am via our website.
