Lothians Boys retain Scottish Area Team Championship
The Lothians team of
Archie Cook (Gullane), Kiron Gribble (Dunbar), Aiden Lawson (Bruntsfield Links GS) and Domonic McGlinchey (The Renaissance) played great golf to retain the Scottish Area Team Championships at Duff House Royal last weekend. Trailing Stirlingshire by 2 shots after the morning foursomes they fought back well in the afternoon singles to win with a score of 347 with Renfrewshire 2nd on 359 and North East close behind on 361.
Aiden Lawson had the best individual score of 67 (1 under par) and won the Niagra Cup which we think is the first time a Lothians player has achieved that feat. Kiron Gribble was one of 3 players in second place on level par 68. Proud Team Captain Colin Ramsay is seen here with the boys on the first tee at Duff House Royal.
