Boys Championship Final resumed with Georgie Jackson (Turnhouse) prevailing

The Boys Championship final between Ryan Killorn (West Links Juniors) and Georgie Jackson (Turnhouse) resumed on the 11th hole at the Braids. Ryan found the bunker from the tee while Georgie's drive found the middle of the fairway. Ryan played safe and hit the fairway from the bunker. Georgie second shot found the green side bunker. From the fairway Ryan's third shot finished 10 feet from the hole and Georgie's bunker shot was inside Ryan's third shot. Both players then holed for birdies. Ryan remained two holes ahead. 

The 11th hole set the scene for a tense final but slowly Georgie slowly came to the fore and with further birdies at 15 and 17 won the match 2&1.   

Ryan can take some consolation from being one of the youngest finalist is years and surely his day will come.
