Great surprise for the Boys as the Coaching programme gets underway.

Sixteen boys had an early morning surprise as the Lothians Winter Coaching Programme got underway this morning at Archerfield Golf Centre under the guidance of Oli Morton.

However, it was a great surprise for the boys when Grant Forrest, ex Lothians Team Player, now winning European Tour Professional, popped in to see the programme get underway. A further surprise for the Boys was that Angus Carrick, Scottish Amateur Champion and Lothians winning Scottish Area Championship Team player joined the lads for a starting welcome.

Both Grant and Angus were on site to get a little tuition of their own and the Lothians are delighted that they they took time out of their practicing schedule to offer the boys some encouragement on the day. Grant is soon to head off to Portugal next week for the Portuguese Masters and we wish him every success for a good four round week.

The Boys can be seen here with our two 'Stars' and the dreich weather never put them off as they got the five month programme underway. They are all rapped up in wet weather clothing and they are a credit to themselves for their continued enthusiasm.

All the best boys and you never know, you could be a budding Grant or Angus of the future, heads down.
