No Luck for Lothians in Executive Area Team Competition
The Area Association Executive Teams took to the Course on 14 June 2021 at Torwoodlee Golf Club chasing the win of the year. The teams of Borders, Stirlingshire, Fife and Lothians enjoyed a good day of weather and some excellent scoring. The Torwoodlee Course was in good condition and the camaraderie even better.
It was success however, for a strong Stirlingshire team who recorded two x 39pts and three x 35 pts in the best five scores from six players in this stableford format, for a total of 183, a new record total for this competition. Borders finished second with 174, with Lothians on 164 and Fife 162
Although, Lothians travelled up the road without the trophy, an enjoyable day was had by all.
We thank our hosts, the Borders Golf Association for their great organisation on the day and also Torwoodlee GC for allowing us courtesy of the course.
We look forward to hosting our friends in the Lothians in 2022.
