GB&I Walker Cup 2021 team announced

Sandy Scott of Nairn is the lone Scot selected for the forthcoming 48th Walker Cup to be played on 8th and 9th May 2021 at Seminole, Florida. Of course he will still have a Scottish voice within the camp with Stuart Wilson, Club Secretary at Blairgowrie Golf Club but a member of Forfar GC, undertaking the role of Team Captain.

I am sure Stuart had a difficult task in selecting the cream of the Country to take on the USA on their home soil.

From a Lothians perspective we are delighted to see that our friends from Northumberland have one of their regular County players in Matty Lamb selected in the team of ten players. Matty has played against the Lothians on a number of occasions and has been a difficult opponent to overcome. We wish Matty a successful competition.

Everyone connected to the Lothians Golf Association wish all the players and the team captain every success for what we hope will be a successful journey and hope that they are able to bring home the silverware.
