Lothians Golf Association have launched their Centenary

Exactly, 100 years and to the hour, the Lothians Golf Association launched their Centenary. Nearly 60 o people joined President, John Allan in getting the next 100 years off to a good footing. Thanks go to all the Club representatives who re-enacted the original meeting in which the Association was formed. Martin Dempster, our well known journalist made a fitting tribute to the Association telling poignant stories of yester year. And we all raised a suitable glass of cheer to mark the Toast to the Association made by the Scottish Golf President, David Fleming. Interacted into this was two montages off our 40 original Clubs and our Champion golfers.
