The BBT Golf Club was founded in December 2003 and is based at Turnhouse Golf Club in Edinburgh.

The club had a very successful first year, winning the Sivewright Trophy. We also reached the latter stages of the Evening News Dispatch Trophy – a feat we’ve repeated a number of years since.

In our second year, we were proud that Ian Robb represented the BBT Golf Club and took part in his first competitive matchplay tournament, the Lothians Handicap Champion of Champions – and won!

Our most recent success was in the 2015 Lothians Team Tournament – our team won the Walker Trophy for the lowest scoring Non-Course Owning club.

Our membership stands at around 70, although not all are regular playing members – we’re a very social club and have a good mix of golf at Turnhouse, outings at other courses and social events to cater for everyone.

The BBT Golf Club is proud to be affiliated to the Lothians Golf Association and have held membership since our inception.
