Allyn Dick (Kingsfield) becomes a 3 time winner of the Stuart Cup as leading qualifier in the Lothians Championship with a 10 under par score of 130 (67 + 63) at Broomieknowe today. He finished one ahead of 2017 Stuart Cup winner, Stuart McLaren (Bruntsfield Links GS) with Benn McLeod (Musselburgh) and Stuart Blair (Royal Musselburgh) in third place on 135.

The CSS was 70 for both morning and afternoon rounds.

The cut for the match play was 142 with Neil Davidson (Newbattle) being the one out of 7 players on that score to progress on a count back. Two players were not available for the match play stages. In total 3 past champions have qualified and Broomieknowe take pride of place with four players through to the final stages of the event.
