The County Cup was presented to Kilspindie GC in 1868 by the Earl Of Wemyss & March. It was to be played for annually amongst the golf clubs of East Lothian. In the beginning the competition was always played over Luffness Links when Kilspindie Gc was known as Luffness GC. However, in later years the venue for the event has moved around the various clubs that take part. The 2019 Tournament will be played over Muirfield on 27th -29th June. Four man teams playing double foursomes will compete in straight knockout matchplay, similar to the Dispatch Trophy. The current holders are Kilspindie GC. Spectators are encouraged to come and watch East Lothians' finest golfers in action.
